The Learning Center
The Learning Center at Our House offers over 20 different courses that provide students with the resources to be successful in the workplace, the community, and their own families. Courses include: Microsoft Word 2007, Microsoft Excel 2007, Microsoft Outlook, Introduction to Internet and Email, Basic Literacy, Communication for the Workplace, Financial Literacy, and Parenting.
Learning Center courses targeted at adults focus on:
- Computer Skills
- Workforce Development
- Basic Education
- Family and Life Skills
The Learning Center also offers an after-school program for teenagers ages 12 - 18.

 The Learning Center is a licensed provider of adult and workforce education and is recognized by the Arkansas State Board of Private Career Education. The Learning Center is open to the public.
To inquire about course availability and fees, please contact Kathy Barbeire, educational programs coordinator, by email or at 374-9675 ext. 210. A 15% discount is given to groups enrolling 4 or more students. New classes begin monthly!
All Learning Center courses are offered free of charge to the residents of Our House. Residents receive scholarships to attend the courses thanks to donors like you. Please click here to provide a scholarship to a homeless parent or individual.

The Learning Center is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software. All new equipment was installed in 2006.

- Microsoft Office Suite 2007
- Laser and Color Printers, Scanners and Copiers
- Digital Projection System
Childcare Center On Site
The Learning Center offers childcare on site. Little Learners Child Development Center is located adjacent to the Learning Center and is open from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. The proximity of the Child Development Center to the Learning Center makes it easy for parents to attend courses while their children are cared for next door. Location
The Learning Center is located in Central Little Rock at 302 East Roosevelt Road on the Our House campus. The center is conveniently accessible from two bus routes and is right off I-30, a five-minute drive from the downtown business district.
