transitions
Transitions is a program for women who have been incarcerated or who are on probation or parole. In addition to providing the basics of food and shelter, this program provides additional support to ensure that these women are successful in their efforts to re-enter productive society. Our House has space for six women to participate in this program at any given time.
Services that program participants receive include personal mentoring, education and job training, assistance finding employment, and stepped-up case management provided by a dedicated staff member.
To be considered for this program, the female candidate must first live in The Shelter and be willing and able to work.
To participate in Transitions, contact the Resident Services Coordinator by clicking here or by calling 501-374-7383 ext. 204. Hours are 2 pm – 10 pm.
