Residents enter the Permanent Housing Program after having found full time employment, saved a large portion of their income, learned life skills, addressed substance abuse, mental health, legal, financial, and domestic violence issues and gained the tools needed to maintain life on their own home.
Little Rock Housing Authority Housing Choice Vouchers
LRHA has set aside 6 of their Housing Choice Vouchers for Our House to designate to specific clients who have need and have done exceptionally well in our programs. The client maintains this voucher until they give it up or until they no longer qualify.

Our House can refer clients who qualify to permanent housing programs sponsored by other agencies. These agencies include Little Rock Community Mental Health Center and VA. They work with the partnering agency to find and pay for housing while receiving continued support from Our House.
General Permanent Housing Placement
For residents who do not qualify for other programs, Our House is able to connect its residents to fair, reputable and affordable landlords and housing through our extensive partnerships with the housing community. It is often intimidating to venture from a shelter into permanent housing, but with the help of Our House, our residents are able to make the transition.

Program Requirements
To be considered for entry into Our House’s Permanent Housing Program, the participant must first reside in Our House’s Shelter or Family House. The resident must
- Have a steady, full-time job;
- Have money in savings;
- Have extensive participation in Our House programs; and
- Show a willingness and potential to success outside of Our House.
