my picture perfect summer

My Picture Perfect Summer is a free 8-week day camp for homeless and low-income 6 - 15 year olds. The youths involved in this program go on two field trips per week, learn new skills like cooking and edible gardening, and tie the whole experience together by capturing their experiences through digital photography.
Participants are grouped according to age and participate in a variety of activities led by trained staff and AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers.

Field Trips
There are at least two field trips a week. Past field trips include: Willow Springs, Playtime Pizza, Gator Park, Dunbar Garden, Pinnacle Mountain, Clinton Presidential Center, Heifer Ranch, Arkansas Arts Center, the Governor’s Mansion, Peabody Park, Little Rock Zoo, Arkansas Skatium, Dickey Stephens Baseball Park, USS Razorback, Rave Motion Pictures, River City Gymnastics, and Arkansas Alligator Farm.
