When & Where
- The Learning Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8AM-4:30 PM and Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
- We are located in the Education Building at the bottom of the hill on the Our House campus:
- 302 E. Roosevelt Rd., Little Rock, AR 72206.

The Learning Center at Our House has worked with homeless individuals and community members for over 20 years to strengthen basic education skills, improve workforce readiness, and cultivate new life skills.

Job training programs prepare homeless individuals and community members to enter the workforce.
adult education
Adult Basic Education offered onsite by Adult Education Instructors helps students improve their reading, language and math skills, prepare to take the GED, or apply to college.

Life skills classes include workshops on conflict resolution, nutrition, parenting, and money management.

The Learning Center at Our House strives to honor our students’ life experiences and use these experiences as the foundation for learning. All of our programs are designed to increase knowledge, develop skills, and clarify the values of our students. Our goal is to help everyone we touch become better individuals, employees, parents, and citizens.
Get Involved
The Learning Center is made possible by a dedicated team of staff, volunteers, and community partners. Join us!
Tutor a Student: Many of our students need one on one attention. We are always looking for volunteers in reading, language and math.
Become a Partner Organization: We are always seeking employers to hire our successful students and teach our students about what they look for in a good employee.
Fund a Scholarship: All of our programs are provided to the residents at Our House free of charge. Your donation will help to fund our students’ education.
