Our House Executive Director Georgia Mjartan was selected as the winner of Arkansas Business 2010 Non-Profit Executive of the Year. In an article in Arkansas Business on February 14th, Georgia’s success in revitalizing Our House was cited as the basis for her nomination.  Our House was also a finalist for Non-Profit of the Year in recognition of its major renovation projects, family housing program, the capacity of the shelter, as well as its AmeriCorps VISTA program.

In February's edition of Soirée Executive Director Georgia Mjartan wrote “A Library’s Lesson” about how a childhood love of books brought awareness of homelessness.
