You can help Our House help the working homeless by donating usable items. We accept donations at Our House or at one of our three thrift store locations (see details below). Please bring household items and furniture to a thrift store location. Donations are accepted at Our House from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our House, Inc., is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization in accordance with IRS regulations, and all donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. You will receive a tax receipt at the time of drop-off for in-kind donations.

 

host a drive

A drive is a great way to get your family and friends involved in Our House. It helps raise the supplies we need to operate and it also generates interest in Our House. Drives are easy to cater to your group’s goals and themes for events or as an ongoing way to help Our House.

How to Give

1. Decide on the items you would like to gather in your supply drive.
2.  Pick a theme or goal if you’d like.
3. Decide how and when the items will be collected
4. Bring your items to Our House.
5. Make sure you write your information on a tax receipt for your records and ours.

We accept donations from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

My favorite Thrift Store supports Our House by donating a portion of their sales. It’s a great place to shop and donate!

More Information

Due to Potential recalls and for licensing reasons, we are unable to accept used toys and baby furniture. New Items can be used in our child care or our youth programs. For sanitation purposes we cannot accept open, used, or expired food or personal items (underwear etc.) Please bring furniture and household items to My Favorite Thirft Store.
